Canon Expands imageFORCE Printer Lineup with New Models

Canon U.S.A. has announced the addition of two new products to its imageFORCE printer portfolio: the imageFORCE C1935P color printer and the imageFORCE 1643 Series of black-and-white printers. The new models are aimed at meeting the needs of modern business environments with a focus on productivity, security, and sustainability.

The imageFORCE C1935P is a compact, single-function color printer capable of producing up to 35 pages per minute in both color and black-and-white. It supports media sizes up to 11″ x 17″ and offers print resolutions of up to 1200 × 1200 dpi. The device includes features designed to simplify maintenance and operation, as well as built-in security tools such as system verification at startup and machine learning-based recommendations for security settings. Canon states that 13% of the resin used in the device is derived from recycled plastics.

The imageFORCE 1643 Series includes three models—1643, 1643F, and 1643P—with print speeds of up to 45 pages per minute. The 1643 and 1643F are multifunction devices supporting printing, scanning, and copying, with the 1643F also including fax capabilities. The 1643P is a single-function printer. Multifunction models feature a 7-inch user interface and support fast duplex scanning, while cloud-based document workflows are enabled through compatible software.

Canon indicated that recycled plastics account for 25% of the resin in the multifunction models and 10% in the single-function version. The 1643 Series also incorporates similar security features to the C1935P, including system verification and embedded protection controls.

The new devices are designed to integrate with software such as uniFLOW Online to enhance workflow management and security. Canon said the additions reflect its ongoing efforts to expand its product lineup in response to evolving workplace requirements.
