Mr. Manoj Pandya, Director, Circuit Systems comments, “In 2024, we did good business both with the imaging products and also with IT products. Nearly, 70% of our business comes from imaging products, including printer parts, toner cartridges, toner powders, inks, etc and 30% from IT products such as PCBs, scanner parts, etc. Earlier, people were looking only for low-priced products, without much attention to quality. But, nowadays, people are growing quality-conscious and are ready to pay some extra for better quality—this is a good development in the market. We provide only high quality products, whether they are cartridges, printer parts or other products. Our quality is nearly equal to that of OEM products. Customers trust our quality and come for repeat purchases. We have over 500 dealer-partners spread across India and we also have some big companies like Wipro and TVS as our direct customers. Our customers for printer parts include banks, malls, retail outlets, etc. We have customers all over India though most of our business comes from the West and South India regions. We manufacture some of our products ourselves in our manufacturing plant in Gujarat, some we procure from other traders and some we directly import from quality-proven providers in China. We have been growing at an annual rate of over 20%. We are confident that we will maintain this growth rate. Earlier, our imaging product business was mostly involved providing thermal, passbook and dotmatrix printer parts, but while these are still selling well, in 2024, we saw a good increase in the demand for our toner cartridges and toner powders. In 2025, we want to focus more on providing our toner cartridges and printer parts, besides other products and operations, and establish our brand strongly across India.”

Talking about the governments’ imposition of 11% duty on the import of black toner cartridges, Mr. Manoj Pandya opines, “As such I don’t think this 11% import duty on cartridges has much impact on us. However, we hope this will push up demand for refilling and cartridge parts, because the increase in cartridge prices can encourage users towards refilling and remanufacturing. We have to wait and see.”
