The fears of US tariffs on imports from several countries including India have ebbed to a great extent. China reports there has been little effect of US tariffs on their imaging and other industries in the Q1 of 2025 and feels things go on in a normal way. The global market is set to readjust to tariffs even though they cause some temporary discomfort.
The INR vis-à-vis USD has recovered significantly compared to what it was a month back. This will make imports more comfortable though increases in freight charges are a continued burden.
The recent military clashes with our neighboring country also did not affect the economy in any way. Hope everything will go fine and we wish good days for the imaging industry and the partners.
