Intrix Infotech Recovers to their Earlier Growth Rate and Plans to Expand to East and North-East India

In an interaction with Imaging Solution magazine, Mr. Vishvesh Gilda, Partner, Intrix Infotech LLP (Q-Cartridge), shares about their company’s operations, product policy and future plans. Established in 2009 in Pune (Maharashtra), Intrix Infotech is one of the leading importers, suppliers and distributors of a broad array of high quality imaging products under their brand name Q-Cartridge. The product range offered under Q-Cartridge includes compatible toners, toner cartridges, cartridge parts, printer machine parts, etc for several top brands such as HP, Canon, Samsung, Ricoh and Epson. Q-Cartridge products are made from quality-assured materials procured from authorized and certified vendors of the industry from India and abroad. The company also offers their products unbranded in bulk.

Mr. Vishvesh Gilda, Partner, Intrix, comments, “Our business operations are focused mainly on providing high quality compatible laser cartridges, toners and spares under Q-Cartridge. Presently, we have customers across India, though we are strongly positioned in the West, South and North India regions. We import mainly from the proven providers from China and offer high quality products at competitive prices and supply products promptly at the customer’s door-step. However, due to the anti-dumping duty on the black toners imported from China and the increase in freight charges, prices of imports have gone up. Accordingly, we also had to increase the prices of our products. We also use the toners provided by the leading manufacturers in India. As far as the black and color toners manufactured by the Indian domestic manufacturers are concerned, we feel still there is room for improvement in terms of quality, consistency and variety. Our products, though not the cheapest, are value-for-money products, as we maintain good quality and consistency. Overall, we are doing well due to the reputation of our brand and the strong long-term relationships we maintain with our partners.”

Today, Q-Cartridge has a vast clientele in West, North & South India. Q Cartridge wants to expand its presences aggressively in North-East India.  High yield, sharp and dark black print are some of the main features of Q-Cartridge. Aided by quality-proven vendors and spacious warehousing unit, Q-Cartridge can meet bulk orders in a timely and efficient manner. Q-Cartridge has a well-equipped in-house quality testing department where their team of experienced quality controllers assures that only premium quality materials are offered to customers.

Mr. Vishvesh Gilda adds, “We deal mostly in mono toners and very little of color toners. Except, during Covid lockdowns, our usual annual growth rate is around 25%. During lockdowns, there was a dip in business, but we now we have recovered fast and are back to our normal growth rate. All our products are selling well.”

Q-Cartridge from time to time, launches special incentive scheme for their partners. With their focus on high quality products & services and consistency, the company plans to expand their operations into East India, while further strengthening their operations in other regions of India where they are already present.

Mr. Vishvesh Gilda concludes, “We have customers all over India, though we are strong in North, West and South India regions. When it comes to eastern India region, we are gradually expanding our presence there. In future, we will maintain our usual annual growth rate of 25% and expand our partner network into the areas where we are still not strong and establish Q-Cartridge as a reputed brand across India for compatible cartridges, toners and other laser toner printer consumables. We want to focus strongly on whatever we have been doing and do better; we have no plans to enter into other new segments.”
