Jet Cartridge (I) Pvt. Ltd. has been serving the photography and printing industry for the past 25 years. Our work is deeply connected with the photography field, and over the years we have expanded our product range into photo inks, photo papers, sublimation solutions, photo frames, and complete photo work. We have always focused on delivering reliable quality to our customers, and that is what has kept us strong in the market for more than two decades.
What are the key product categories your company specializes in today?
We are actively working across multiple categories such as photography printing, photo ink, photo paper, sublimation printing, DTF work, and photo framing. In addition, we keep adding new products to our portfolio based on market demand and industry trends. Our key strength is understanding what jobbers and dealers require and delivering solutions that work in real conditions.
Why do you strongly recommend Epson printers?
Epson is one of our primary preferences. We recommend Epson printers because Epson uses the Piezoelectric Head technology, which delivers excellent output in photography, sublimation, and DTF applications. The performance and consistency are very strong. Apart from Epson, we also deal with other brands like Canon and Lexmark, including solutions for cartridges and ink—but our major focus remains on Epson due to its compatibility and head technology.
Can you share details of your new sublimation printer?
We have recently launched Epson-based printers that are specially modified for sublimation work. These printers also work as photography printers, but we have enhanced them for sublimation applications. We currently have two models available—24-inch and 36-inch. We have also made ink compatible with these models, making the system more convenient for dealers and jobbers.
What are the main features and advantages of your sublimation printer models?
These printers are designed to be practical and user-friendly. They include a refillable cartridge system—users can easily fill ink from the cartridge inlet, which makes it cost-effective and efficient. The 24-inch sublimation printer comes with a company-fitted 150-meter roll loading capacity, which helps in large print requirements. It also includes a company-fitted vacuum fan, which improves printing performance. These features make it highly useful for both sublimation and photography printing needs.
What improvements did you make in Epson F530 printers?
Epson F530 has a common market complaint related to roller lining. Many users face difficulty due to this lining. So what we do is, we remove the roller lining and instead we install a vacuum fan system. This modification improves paper handling and output performance significantly, especially for sublimation printing.
What are the price points of these models?
We have introduced these models at competitive pricing, keeping Indian market requirements in mind. One model is priced at around Rs. 1,20,000, while the upgraded model costs around Rs. 1,35,000 and includes 150-meter roll loading capacity, a heavy-duty stand, and advanced fittings. Our pricing ensures strong value for jobbers and printing businesses.
How would you describe print quality and performance in sublimation?
Print quality is excellent because this is a 4-color sublimation system, and output depends greatly on ink and paper quality. Many people assume that print quality is only printer-based, but actually the real output comes from the combination of ink, paper, and transfer technique. Sublimation works by printing on paper and then transferring the print using heat, such as in metal sublimation. The color difference between screen and print is natural, but our ink ensures the closest and most accurate output possible.
What opportunities do you see in the Indian market for sublimation and digital printing?
The Indian market is full of opportunities, but the most important factor should be quality. Unfortunately, many dealers focus only on price competition. One dealer gives a rate of 50, another gives 45, then 40, then 35—eventually quality drops. This hurts the industry. We strongly believe that quality always wins. Our products have maintained consistent quality for 25 years, and that’s why we’ve survived and grown.
Are you planning to introduce more new products?
Digital printing is a massive industry—it is like an ocean, and you can explore limitless categories. We are already involved in photography, garment printing, sublimation, and DTF. Across India, many startups are entering printing, packaging, and labeling. So we are adding products like label printers, label ink, and label stickers. Along with that, we are preparing to launch a digital printer for packaging. Innovation and new launches are necessary to stay relevant.
What message would you like to give to dealers and industry professionals?
My message is very clear: focus on quality. Give products based on customer requirements—do not give the same product to everyone. Every customer has different needs, budgets, and expectations. Our main target audience includes jobbers—ID card makers, photographers, photostat operators, garment printers, and others. For example, an ID card costs Rs. 3 to make but sells at Rs. 30. A photo may cost Rs. 2 but sells at Rs. 3. An A4 photo sells at Rs. 150 with a cost of Rs. 100. Here, price is not the main issue—quality matters most. If everyone focuses on quality, the industry will grow stronger and customers will trust the dealer community more.
