Katun Corporation (Katun), provider of Arivia multifunction printers (MFPs) and leading supplier of OEM-equivalent imaging supplies for printers, copiers, and MFPs, is proud to announce the launch of Katun Collects, a new core collection and recycling program for the European market. The initiative, developed in partnership with global sustainability solutions provider, Close the Loop, represents a significant step forward in supporting Katun’s commitment to circular economy principles.

Katun Collects is designed to streamline the collection and responsible recycling of used toner cartridges, components, and core parts – including returns from Katun Arivia MFPs. By recovering valuable materials and reducing waste, the program plays a pivotal role in minimizing environmental impact across the product lifecycle.
The program will initially be available to selected customers across Western Europe and the UK, with a focus on print and office technology industry partners. Plans for wider expansion across additional regions in Europe, the Middle East & Africa (EMEA) are already in development. Participating customers will be provided with the resources and support needed to return used products efficiently and responsibly.

Close the Loop, a recognized leader in product and resource recovery, brings decades of expertise in managing complex recycling logistics and material recovery processes. Their capabilities ensure that collected items are remanufactured, repurposed, or recycled responsibly, aligning with Katun’s broader circular economy goals.
The Katun Collects program aims to recover more than 50 tons of used cartridges and components annually, of which the majority will be reused as remanufactured cartridges. This will significantly reduce the amount of material entering landfills, reinforcing both companies’ dedication to responsible product lifecycle management.
