Lemon Digital Press impressed by RICOH’s outstanding performance

The shop has boosted its digital printing quality and capability with the installation of a brand new RICOH Pro C7500, a highly advanced and efficient digital colour production press from Monotech Systems Limited.

Having been in business over the last 12 years, Lemon Digital Press offers a range of vibrantly printed end products such as visiting cards, wedding cards, brochures, catalogues, posters, etc. using a portfolio high-end machines including the new RICOH Pro C7500; a 36-inch Canon imagePROGRAF TA-30 large-format printer, yet another machine from Monotech Systems Limited, which is a globally acclaimed Indian machine manufacturer and a one-stop solution provider for the printing and packaging industry. Other key machines in the portfolio are a laser cutting machine for making gift items and an HP Latex printer for signage graphics.

Mr. Binod Radhakrishnan, Proprietor of Lemon Digital Press, states that they have taken the company’s digital printing quality and capability to a whole new elevation using the brand new RICOH Pro C7500. He adds, “Our first task with this new RICOH digital colour production press was to improve the overall quality of graphic prints. We are now doing it capably, flawlessly, and impressively.”     

He continues, “Before the RICOH Pro C7500 we used to run another digital press of different brand that could print media only up to 300gsm, which in turn held back our endeavour to print and produce high-quality graphics. Now, we are confident and proficient to produce what we want using the new RICOH Pro C7500’s versatility in media handling and capability to print up to 470gsm.”

Capable of printing on the broadest array of media ranging from 40gsm up to 470gsm, RICOH Pro C7500 operates at an speed of 85ppm, which can be upgradable to 95ppm. With speed and quality, this robust digital workhorse delivers graphics in the industry’s leading resolution of 2400x4800dpi. “Our new RICOH press’ capability of printing on diverse stocks including textured media is really commendable,” remarks Mr. Binod.

RICOH Pro C7500 is bundled with EFI® Fiery® Digital Print Servers, a crucial tool needed nowadays for optimising efficiency and quality in print operations. The servers’ intuitive Fiery® Command WorkStation® is designed to facilitate precise job management and colour control, enabling quick production of personalised products with the press’ variable data printing capabilities in exceptional RIP speeds and smooth PDF workflows.
