Hagemann, Managing Director of INTEGRAL GmbH, took center stage at the 3rd Imaging Solution – RemaxWorld Global Summit & Entrepreneur Awards 2025 in Zhuhai, China, where he delivered a compelling presentation spotlighting the company’s six-decade journey, exceptional manufacturing expertise, and strong commitment to building quality-driven partnerships — particularly in the rapidly growing Indian market.

Founded in 1966, INTEGRAL has built an impressive reputation as one of Europe’s leading OEM-equivalent toner manufacturers, with its first toner produced as early as 1973. The company today operates two advanced manufacturing facilities in Germany and France, with its French plant—Oyonnax—serving as the heart of production, built on the principles of precision, automation, and sustainable quality control. Over the years, INTEGRAL has expanded through key acquisitions across Switzerland, Ireland, Italy, and France, further strengthening its global manufacturing footprint and technological base.
During his address, Mr. Hagemann reflected on his longstanding association with India, dating back to his first visit in 1989, and shared his renewed optimism about the market’s potential today. “India, with its 1.4 billion population and expanding economy, presents a significant opportunity for high-quality imaging products,” he said. He highlighted that even if 10% of the market demands premium products, that segment alone represents a base of over 140 million users—larger than any individual European country.
Mr. Hagemann emphasized that quality and reliability, rather than just pricing, are the key to long-term profitability in the imaging industry. He explained the difference between “low price” and “low cost,” urging the industry to shift its focus from short-term savings to sustainable cost-efficiency. “A high-quality toner not only ensures consistent print output and longer life of printer components but also reduces service interventions, improving overall profitability for MPS operators and dealers,” he noted.
With automation and R&D integration at the core of its manufacturing process, INTEGRAL ensures consistent toner performance, low VOC emissions, and environmentally responsible production standards. The company is now seeking to build a strong distribution network in India, offering access to its advanced OEM-equivalent toners — produced in Europe and free from anti-dumping duties.
Encouragingly, Mr. Hagemann also mentioned the upcoming Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Europe and India, expected to come into effect soon, which will further ease trade and enhance accessibility of European-made toner products in the Indian market.
Concluding his presentation, Mr. Hagemann reaffirmed INTEGRAL’s long-term strategy of nurturing sustainable partnerships with Indian distributors and MPS providers, focusing on shared growth through innovation, quality, and trust.
“The Indian market is evolving fast — from being price-driven to quality-conscious. We see tremendous potential for collaboration with like-minded partners who value performance and reliability,” he concluded.
