“Namaste, Good Afternoon, and Ni Hao!” began Mr. Khanna with warmth and enthusiasm, symbolizing the spirit of collaboration and friendship across nations. He shared how Compucover’s journey began in 1992, at a time when import duties in India stood at a staggering 330%. Despite the challenges, the company took a bold step toward self-reliance by establishing its own manufacturing facility in India.
Mr. Khanna recounted how Compucover evolved from producing keyboard protectors for desktops to a diverse range of laptop and device protectors, including antimicrobial and hygiene-focused accessories. With advanced lab-certified antibacterial and dust-resistant solutions, the company continues to push innovation in everyday computing essentials.
Highlighting India’s transformation, Mr. Khanna noted,
“From 330% import duty to nearly zero today — India’s progress in manufacturing infrastructure and government support is truly commendable. We are no longer country-centric; we are growing global.”
Emphasizing the spirit of partnership, he invited global businesses to collaborate with Compucover through franchise and joint venture opportunities, to replicate India’s success in other parts of the world.
“The future of business is not competition but collaboration. Together, we can grow across continents, share technology, and build stronger ecosystems,” he stated.
Mr. Khanna further expressed confidence in India’s global standing, saying,
