Ninestar Corporation announced plans to rename itself Pantum Technology Co., Ltd., signaling a sharper focus on its core printing business and global expansion strategy.

The proposed change, approved by the company’s board on March 17, is still subject to shareholder approval. The company’s stock code will remain unchanged.
Under the plan, Ninestar will adopt “Pantum Technology” as both its new corporate name and stock abbreviation, aligning its corporate identity with its flagship printer brand Pantum.
The rebranding reflects a broader strategic shift following Ninestar’s divestment of Lexmark in July 2025. Since then, Pantum has become the company’s sole proprietary printer brand and its primary growth driver.
The company said the name change will support its ambition to become a leading global provider of printing technology services, with a stronger emphasis on independent innovation and control over key technologies, including printers, consumables, and chips.
By consolidating its brand identity, the company aims to improve coordination across its supply chain and also present a clearer, unified identity in overseas markets, enhance brand recognition among international customers, and support further global expansion.
