Prefil System, founded in 2001, completed its 24 years of presence and entered 25th year in the imaging market as a one-stop-solution for a wide range of imaging consumables including printer inks, laser printer toners, toner cartridges, cartridge components for black and color printers under their brand name Printon and also in bulk. In an interaction with Imaging Solution magazine, Mr. Umesh Chand Aggarwal, Founder, Prefil System, shares about their company’s product line, recent launches, customer-oriented policies and future plans.

Mr. Aggarwal shares, “Our differentiators are providing uncompromising quality, promised page-yield of our cartridges, wide range, high availability, affordable prices and prompt delivery. Whenever new models arrive in the market, we release consumables for them within a month. We are a one-stop-destination for a wide range of toners, cartridges and cartridge components and our partners find everything they need from us. In the last 6 months, we launched a slew of products including color laser printer cartridges – 072 for Canon; 222 for HP; and NP88 for Conon color copiers, among others. And Printon is one of the few providers of compatible consumables for CWS printers in India.”
Prefil System provides consumables for all the major brands of printers, follows stringent quality control procedures, and provides exceptional service policies comparable to OEMs. The company imports only from the quality-proven providers of abroad.
“Our policies based on honesty, credibility and high standards, helped us to grow from scratch to one of the leading distributors in the imaging industry today. Our partners have been very honest and committed, and contributed significantly to help Printon evolve into one of the reputed imaging brands in the Indian imaging industry,” adds Mr. Aggarwal.
Prefil System focuses on wholesaling and trading through their partner consumables. All the products of Printon have a warranty comparable to that of OEMs and deliver high performance and value-for-money to the end users; and decent returns to the partners.
Mr. Aggarwal reveals, “We maintain long-term relationships based on transparency and trust with our business partners and customers. We do business only with the selected partners with proven track record of honesty and commitment. Our rates are a little higher than the market prices, but we offer uncompromising quality, and in the long-run quality and trustworthiness win. That’s the reason all our customers and partners have been with us for a long time. Next, by associating with us, they get all the products they need at one place. We have a complete range of cartridge components such as drums, blades, springs, imported empty cartridges, etc and imported empties of laser toner cartridges. About 70% of our products are imported from abroad and 30% from local vendors. We use black toners from ITDL, and import color toners and components from abroad,”

About their future plans, Mr. Aggarwal concludes, “We have been maintaining a decent annual growth rate and maintain the same in the coming years despite fluctuations in the market. Whereas a major portion of business comes from NCR and North India, we have partners all across the 29 states in India. In FY2025-26, we want to add new partners, further expand our reach and strengthen our brand Pan-India. We want to add printer parts to our portfolio by the end of 2025.
