Incepted in 2002, Sree Vinayaka Systems, is a leading Trivandrum (Kerala) based retailer and dealer for printer consumables and accessories. Led by Mr. P. Ramesh, CEO, the company deals in OEM consumables of the leading printer brands like HP, Canon, Epson, Samsung and Brother; and compatible laserjet cartridges and toners of PRM, i-jet (the brand of Multi Infomedia), Aryan, Jet Tec and ProDot brands. Sree Vinayaka has been a Canon Authorized Reseller (CAR) for printer machines (ink and laser) and OEM consumables since 2019. Sree Vinayaka has a state-of-the-art warehouse and office in heart of Trivandrum and a well-connected network of over 200 dealers in Trivandrum and the surrounding areas.

Mr. Ramesh shares, “About 40% of our business comes from selling brand new printers, 50% from imaging consumables (OEM and compatible) and about 10% from IT peripherals such as key boards, mice, memory, cables, etc. We do not deal in laptops and desktops. The compatible cartridges of PRM and i-jet brands are moving well. As far as inks are concerned, we provide only OEM inks, no compatibles. On the color side, inkjet printers of Epson, HP, and Canon are selling very well and on the laserjet side, monochrome laser printers are doing well.”
In their well-equipped showroom-cum-office in Trivandrum, Sree Vinayakathe printers and consumables are displayed for the visitors to have a touch and feel and watch demos by the customer service personnel.
Mr. Ramesh adds, “Though we focus mainly on showcasing Canon printers, we also display printers of other brands such as HP, Canon, Brother and Epson. So far most of our sales and transactions have been mainly via offline channel and only a little thru online. However, now we have a redesigned online platform with better search features. From October 2024, we will increase our focus via our online portal. This will make it convenient for those who want to purchase online and will also increase our sales.”
Sree Vinayaka employs well-trained staff to handle their sales, services and other business operations. The other products Sree Vinayaka Systems sells include ribbons, copier papers, glossy papers, power & data cables, antivirus software, mouse, keyboards, speakers, UPS and all types of toner cartridge spares.
Talking about their current and future plans, Mr. Ramesh reveals, “Festive season is starting with Onam in September will continue with other festivals following till the end of 2024, so most brands are giving festive season discounts to the customers. Our main focus now is on selling Canon Pixma printers for which the brand is giving many attractive discounts and gifts to the buyers. Promoting Brother and HP printers are our next focus. Apart from these, we also sell printers of other brands and their consumables. As far as budget is concerned, changes in the income tax slabs are a welcome thing for us where we can save some money. The new Vizhinjam International Seaport (built by Adani Group) will start its commercial operations by the end of 2024, so many new offices related to logistics will start cropping up in Trivandrum and the nearby areas. This is set to boost our sales of printers and consumables. Currently, our annual growth rate is around 15% and we expect it to go up in 2025.”
Over the years, Sree Vinayaka has earned the reputation as the most Partner- and Customer-Friendly organization in Trivandrum and the surrounding towns. The company won several awards from the reputed companies such as Canon, ProDot and the imaging industry media in the past.
Mr. Ramesh concludes, “Today, people prefer compatible cartridges over remanufactured cartridges, so we are focusing only on selling the compatible laser toner cartridges and refilling of laser cartridges. Providing, quality products and services, maintaining long-term relations and transparent deals with all our customers and partners are our USPs.”
