Static Control’s network of global distribution partners met for their annual summit in April at the company’s world headquarters in Sanford, North Carolina. The group discussed Static Control’s global direction and strategies for communicating that value to the local markets.
“With countless areas of economic uncertainty around the world, the industry consolidating and overall remanufacturing numbers decreasing, we are extremely proud that our global partners continue to find ways to grow,” said Juan Carlos Bonell, Static Control’s Vice President of Distributor Markets. “Last year, we have seen growth in distributor markets from different parts of the world. This is a testament to the hard work and initiative the team contributes. Static Control will continue to do all that we can to provide the products and support they need to keep building on this development.”
The company’s expansion into cartridges played an important role in continued growth for distributor markets. “Static Control’s high-quality components have allowed us to build a great business for the last 30 years, and now to be able to offer that same level of quality and consistency in a cartridge has really opened up many doors for our distributors,” said Bonell.
The event was also an opportunity to present awards to the company’s distributor partners for successes throughout 2016. Imaging Parts Now, based in the Philippines, were the big winners of the event, picking up three awards including the highest growth in revenue for 2016. Makkon of the Ukraine, Imaging Solutions in Russia and Japan-based Hara Trading were also recognized for outstanding sales results.
