IPM-Toner, Europe’s largest toner powder manufacturer, sells its products to over 100 countries. In an interaction with Imaging Solution Magazine, Mr. Ali Orgucu, Co-Founder & MD of IPM shares insights on the company’s growth, technology, and future market trends.
Could you tell us about IPM and its journey so far?
IPM is a well-established toner manufacturing company with a global presence. We’ve been in the industry for over 16 years, and our products are sold in nearly 100 countries around the world. Our main focus is on producing high-quality toner powder, and we have an annual production capacity of 2000 tons. We offer a range of products, including monochrome toners, and our aim is to build and sell under our own brand names like IPM Marlin, IPM Master, and IPM Kyocera Moon.
What sets IPM apart in the toner industry, especially in terms of technology?
One of the key differentiators for us is our focus on cutting-edge technology. We have developed a unique process that allows us to produce toner particles with a very small particle size. This requires new-generation additives and advanced technology. We’re continuously evolving and improving our processes to meet the growing demand for high-quality toner powders.
What is your outlook on the Indian market?
India is a very promising market for us. With the growing economy and changes in global dynamics, India has become an even more important market. Due to factors like the American embargo on China, India now has a great opportunity to expand. We’re also proud to be sourcing raw materials from Indian manufacturers, which has been a rewarding experience for us.
Can you share your thoughts on the future of toner products and the market?
The market is evolving, and we’re adapting to new trends. Ready-to-use cartridges are becoming more popular, and we’re investing heavily in this segment. Year by year, the demand for ready-to-use cartridges is increasing, and we’re focusing on making sure we’re ready for this shift.
However, the future is uncertain, particularly in regions like the United States and Europe. We’re seeing growth in the recharging industry due to patent issues, but the exact trajectory remains unclear. It’s an area that needs careful observation, but we’re prepared to adapt to whatever changes come.
What would you like to convey to your customers?
My message to our customers is simple: always trust IPM. We’re committed to delivering the best quality and service, and we’ll continue to innovate to meet the needs of the ever-changing market.
