Brother released its latest line-up of INKvestment Tank multi-function printers which now include enough ink to last users for a year and minimize the running costs of the device. The Brother MFC-J1300DW and the DCP-J1100DW both have internal ink storage tanks so it significantly increases the amount of ink held by the printer and caters for the needs of the home office or small business.
These A4 printing products offer a low-cost solution and eliminate the need to constantly replace cartridges. Instead, the cartridges remain onboard the printer and the ink supply is drawn from the internal tanks which are filled with the supplied bottles. When more ink is needed in a year, the customer simply purchases ink bottles and refills the tanks.
Apart from the onboard ink tanks, the new Brother MFPs also include wireless connectivity and one-touch connect with NFC (near field communication). The scanning and printing process has also been simplified with the Brother iPrint&Scan app with files able to be saved the popular cloud storage solutions like Dropbox, OneDrive and Google Drive.
