Imaging Solution wishes you all its readers a Happy Festive Season which is about to begin and hope it will start a beginning of new hope, happiness and success.

One of this month’s stories talks about how Static Control completed 35 eventful and successful years and today evolved into one of the leading global providers of imaging aftermarket consumables and components after crossing several milestones.

Now schools, colleges and institutions started working full-time, but that brought only partial relief to the players in the market. After Covid lockdowns and the related economic problems, now supply problems still plague the Indian imaging consumables market (and also in other industry segments) compounded by the continued lockdowns in China, anti-dumping duty on black toners, relocation of global manufacturing companies abroad, etc. Industry players feel the availability problems will continue till March 2023 and expect some relief only in the next fi nancial year 2023-24. Let us hope the best and prepare for the worst. Under diffi cult conditions, the companies need to redefi ne their business strategies to survive and grow.
