Digital Gateway Announces Integration with Autotask

by Imaging Solution Bureau

Digital Gateway, Inc., a subsidiary of ECi Software Solutions, announced the integration of its e-automate® dealer management software with Autotask Corporation’s IT Business Management Solution built for IT service providers, managed service providers and enterprise IT managers.

The integration is expected to be available for e-automate dealers by first quarter, 2014. “We put a lot of time and effort into determining a best-in-class solution that the e-automate customer base could rely on for their expansion into managed network services,” said Laryssa Alexander, President of Digital Gateway. “Integrating Autotask Pro with the e-automate system provides dealers with access to an extensive, award-winning array of features and integrations crafted for a managed services provider (MSP).”

Autotask Corporation provides the world’s leading hosted IT business management software. IT service providers in more than 70 countries utilize Autotask Pro software to bring together their critical business systems to support the selling, implementation, management and billing of their technology products and services more efficiently and profitably. For dealers using e-automate, the initial integration will automate business processes between Autotask and the e-automate software by removing the double-entry, time delays, and errors in managing and transferring data between the two systems.

These integration optimizations will include synchronizing accounts and providing a method for Autotask invoice data to be pulled by e-automate service calls.“We’re excited to work with Digital Gateway on integrating e-automate with Autotask. This integration brings the best business management software from two separate industries together to support the evolution of independent dealers in the imaging channel.

Our goal is to provide e-automate dealers with the tools they need to help them focus on building and growing their managed network services business and providing superior service to their clients,” said Len DiCostanzo, Senior Vice President, Community and Business Development, Autotask. “Autotask’s integration with Digital Gateway’s e-automate software will yield operational efficiencies that are key to running a profitable IT services business.”
