Today, Gi2 Merchants LLP is a leading New Delhi-based importer, trader, supplier, wholesaler, and distributor of imaging products and office supplies. Gi2 Merchants LLP provides imaging products in bulk as well as under their own brand name Gi2. Their product portfolio includes compatible laser toner powders, cartridges, OPC DRUMS.
Could you please share more details about your brand portfolio?
Gi2 Merchants LLP brand Gi2 is a popular brand among customers across India and the product portfolio under their brand includes OPC drums for laser cartridges, toner powders and compatible toner cartridges, lamination machines, lamination pouches, etc with a customer-base spread pan-India. Gi2 Merchants LLP also provides these products in bulk for those who need them.
How do you perceive the current trends in the printing market?
With the advent of remote work, the printing market is experiencing a shift towards inkjet solutions. However, it’s important to note that laser printers remain in high customer demand. Looking ahead, the market for laser and inkjet printers continues to expand daily.
How would you describe the current scenario of the cartage market?
The cartage market is robust, though it’s worth noting that intense competition is a prevailing factor. A sustained emphasis on product quality can contribute to the smooth functioning of the market. Our philosophy is clear: compromising quality to lower prices is unacceptable. Unfortunately, some manufacturers resort to this tactic, but we uphold our commitment to providing quality products at affordable rates.
How do you position your brand amidst this competitive market?
We distinguish ourselves by being purveyors of quality. The market is a bit competitive currently and we are completely focused on providing quality products to our customers. Our primary focus revolves around the production of cartridges and toner powder.

Our primary focus revolves around the production of cartridges and toner powder. We are working with the running models currently. Whatever products we launch in the market have always had a high demand owing to the excellent quality of our products. One needs to be completely dedicated and focused on providing the best quality products to survive in the market. If the product is of good quality people are ready to pay the price for it. One should not reduce the price of a product in order to get more business while compromising on quality.
Can you provide insights into the market trade?
The toner powder market is flourishing, characterized by significant demand. The ongoing growth in imports and corresponding demand positions the segment for a positive trajectory. The ink spare part market is growing rapidly we are also working towards launching a new segment in this category soon. There is a huge competition and many players are ruining the market by selling cheap quality products at a lesser price. But this approach is not going to continue for long because everyone I looking for good products and is ready to pay for them.
What opportunities do you envision for the future?
Our vision involves market expansion and business growth. We are focusing on the Indian cartridge and spare part market. We aim to establish a more extensive market presence and elevate our business activities. Our brand has a presence in two prominent Indian cities: Delhi and Mumbai. In addition to our current offerings, we are exploring the inclusion of inks and various components. I would like to emphasize the paramount importance of maintaining a steadfast focus on quality. This commitment paves the way for a prosperous and sustainable industry.
