Please brief us about the printer spares you manufacture in India and manufacturing activities are doing?
We manufacture different types of gears and other parts for printers. As there are many items so difficult to list down. However, all our made in India products come with great quality.
What challenges are you currently facing in the market and how do overcome them?
The main problem we face in the current Indian imaging market is credit issues and low margins. Most partners want long-term credit. On the other hand, many others are selling low quality products cheap rates and bringing down the MOP. This is leading to unhealthy competition and shrinking margins. However, we continue to focus on providing good quality products though they cost higher than the average market prices.
How has the recent imposition of customs duty on the imported mono toner cartridges affected your?
The 11% import duty increased the cost of laser toner cartridges, but there is not much effect of it on our sell and import volume.
What is the impact of increasing USD vs INR value on your pricing and profitability?
The drop in the value of INR has made the import costly and we are compelled to increase prices of our products. We are able to maintain our profit levels due to the reputation we have in the market.
How are your plans to expand your dealer-network expansion progressing?
Our channel expansion has been going well. In 2024 we appointed several new dealers to our list of partners.
What are your plans for 2025 in terms of manufacturing or launching new products?
We have plans to launch some new products in 2025, but currently they are in the testing stage. Overall we doing pretty well in the market and we are also getting new customers for our copier toners launched in 2024. Our main focus for copier toner segment is for MPS customers. Our growth has been satisfactory in 2024 and we are optimistic about our progress in 2025 and beyond.
