Organizers at Recycling Times Media Corporation expect over 200 global industry leaders to participate. Managing Director Tony Lee says, “The last two years have been tough: the original printer manufacturers, or OEMs, continue to face fierce competition from the aftermarket, particularly with illegal counterfeit, and patent infringing cloned consumables.
They have had to fight to protect their own patents. Other aftermarket sectors, including remanufacturers who claim the right to repair used printer cartridges, also struggle to survive in what has become a print diminishing market.
