Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. (Konica Minolta) announced that it has acquired Copytronics Information Systems (Copytronics), business solutions dealership headquartered in Jacksonville, Fla., to further increase Konica Minolta’s reach in Florida.
Copytronics will continue to retain its current Florida locations in Jacksonville, Rockledge, Ocala, Daytona Beach and Winter Park, as well as its more than 85 sales, service and administrative staff. As a Konica Minolta company, Copytronics will continue to provide customers with best in class document management solutions, managed print services (MPS), hardware and services. As part of the acquisition agreement, Copytronics’ executive management will report directly to Tim Marshall, president, CopySource, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Konica Minolta.

Begun in June of 1972 by entrepreneur Paul Shields, the company currently serves well over 10,000 customers with a wide range of multifunctional black & white and color office equipment and document management solutions. Copytronics became a Konica Minolta dealer partner in the late 1970s and the company has enjoyed a close relationship with Konica Minolta ever since. Other technology partners include Equitrac, eCopy, ObjectifLune, Sentry file and DocuWare, to name a few.
