Kyocera America Rolls Out New A3 Color and Mono MFPs

KYOCERA Document Solutions America unveiled nine new copier/MFP models consisting of the A3 TASKalfa 6053ci Color Series and TASKalfa 6003i Black & White Series. The TASKalfa 6053ci Color Series includes the: TASKalfa 6053ci, TASKalfa 5053ci, TASKalfa 4053ci, TASKalfa 3553ci, TASKalfa 3253ci, and TASKalfa 2553ci. The TASKalfa 6003i Black & White Series includes the: TASKalfa 6003i, TASKalfa 5003i, and TASKalfa 4003i.

The new models reportedly provide up to 1200×1200 dpi resolution, and an array of copy, scan, and professional document-finishing options and feature Kyocera’s new 10.1” color touchscreen, as well as a new higher speed Dual Scan Document Processor with multi-feed detection, and new improved security features.

Other features include standard Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, and NFC (Near Field Communication) support. And with Kyocera’s HyPAS platform, customers can add Kyocera and third-party business applications to help streamline business workflows, including KYOCERA Net Manager, an Output Management and Cost Control & Security solution that manages print devices and user print policies.

The TASKalfa 6053ci and TASKalfa 6003i Series are KYOCERA Fleet Services-ready (KFS); KFS is said to be a comprehensive, cloud-based monitoring service that allows authorized dealers to remotely handle many maintenance tasks for their customers without having to perform time-consuming on-site visits.
