Pantum International named PT Panorama Timur Jaya as its national distributor for the Indonesian market. Mr. Alex Li, Senior Vice President of Pantum International, sees Indonesia as one of the most promising printing markets in the Asia Pacific area.

“This region can be expected to become one of the top 20 markets in the 1-30 ppm monochrome SFP segment,” Mr. Li observed, adding that Pantum is pleased to announce their expansion plans in Indonesia and is grateful to Panorama for its cooperation as one of Indonesia’s leading distributors. “Pantum believes that the cooperation with Panorama will help Pantum expand their business in the Asia Pacific market and expects to reach their target of 5% market share by 2015.
Rameshwar Rathnam, Pantum International’s Sales Director for the Asia Pacific added “The product line that the company launched in Indonesia includes single function printers (SFPs), High Speed Printers, and Multifunction Printers (MFPs).” Aloys Sutarto, Marketing Director for Panorama Timur Jaya aspires to make Pantum a leader among monochrome laser printer brands in Indonesia.
He said, “We definitely see Pantum attaining great heights, having already received several acknowledgments and international recognition, such as the 2013 Pick award from BLI (Buyers Laboratory LLC) in the ‘Outstanding Personal A4 Monochrome Printer’ category for its P2000 series printer. We also see an increase in the demand for such products in the market. Panorama will initially focus on distribution and services in Java and Kalimantan. Pantum will also be available in Sumatra and the eastern part of Indonesia by 2014.”
