Prnt Source Glazers invests in KM C8000

New Delhi-based commercial printing firm, Prnt Source Glazers, has invested in a Konica Minolta Bizhub Press C8000, digital production press in a bid to expand its digital production capacity.

Since, the alliance between Konica Minolta and TechNova, which was signed in February 2013, this is the first installation of a Konica Minolta press in New Delhi sector. According to Sanjib Mondal, assistant manager sales – North at TechNova the first installation in New Delhi encourages us to capture the lucrative digital print market. Speaking to PrintWeek India, Yogendra Raj Gupta, chief operating officer at Prnt Source Glazers, said, “This is the third digital press at our facility since we forayed into digital in June 2012.”

The print facility of Prnt Source houses a Xerox 770, Ricoh 905 press, two four-color offset presses, a single-color offset press, a FFEI CTP platesetter and entire pre-press and post-press set-up. Akshat Gupta, director at the firm said, “We found Konica Minolta to be a competitive press. Also the quality of glossy prints with the machine is superior. Prior to selecting the machine, we did an extensive market survey in which TechNova surpassed all our expectations in terms of service support.”
