This printer features a 55-ppm print engine at 1200 dpi resolution, and it is aimed at high volume printing applications. This machine can outperform most printers in its’ segment because it is capable of printing up to 11” x 17” (A3) paper sizes, and includes a host of stacker, finisher and stapler functions.
The toner cartridge (CF325X) is rated at 34,500 pages. This printer was released as a replacement for the HP 9000, a true workhorse printer that is still very popular in the marketplace. The M806dn follows the same basic design as the HP9000, even down to the toner cartridge.
Remanufacturers can convert the older HP9000 cartridges into the new M806dn cartridge by use of conversion end caps. No need to wait for empties to become available. UniNet offers a complete remanufacturing solution for these cartridges.
