In interaction with Imaging Solution Magazine, Mr. Raj Singh Chaudhury, Proprietor, Jyotsna Enterprises shares about their company’s recent launches and future plans. Jyotsna Enterprises, established in 2011 at Bharatpur (Rajasthan), is a prominent trader and supplier of a wide range of high-quality compatible dye inks, LFP inks & cartridges, pigment inks, and sublimation inks for Epson, also compatible inks for HP, Brother, Canon, and LFP cartridges for HP, under their brand name Jyotsna Ink.
Mr. Raj Singh Chaudhury comments, “During the last peak of Covid wave in June 2021 our business went down, but now we are recovering reached about 40% of the pre-lockdown levels and hope it will get better in the coming months. Printer inks are our flagship products and will remain so. People know us for our quality while purchasing our products even though our prices are a bit higher than the market prices. In the second half of 2020, we launched several new types of eco-solvent ink, solvent ink and solvent flush, sublimation, and desktop printer inks for different models of inkjet printers. The Work From Home (WFH) and Learn From Home (LFH) trends have limited impact on our business because home users mostly purchase OEM consumables as their consumption is usually very low.”
Jyotsna’s wide product range is formulated and developed using superior quality raw materials procured from reliable vendors who maintain international quality standards. Their products are highly appreciated among clients for their excellent color vibrancy, colorfastness, easy drying, brilliant gloss, and depth. The company is backed by a state-of-the-art R&D and quality testing department equipped with the latest machines manned by experienced professionals, where each product is inspected using stringent procedures on various quality parameters to ensure high quality and flawless inks are delivered to the end-users.
Mr. Raj Singh Chaudhury elaborates, “The demand for sublimation and solvent inks has been steadily growing. And in general, the demand for color inks of all types has been steadily increasing for the past few years. Challenges include the proliferation of poor quality inks which are sold at very low prices; and then the duplicate inks with OEM labels. These negative trends are upsetting the MoP and bringing down quality. However, due to our strong reputation and promotion in the market, we are able to maintain our market share. On the negative side, during the past one year, freight charges on imported items have increased several-fold and transit delays also have gone up to two months on certain products, so we have to increase the prices of our products too.”
Driven by rich industry experience and knowledge, Jyotsna is a client-centric organization that adopts innovative procedures and practices to meet customer expectations. They make sure that every customer gets support and technical assistance to utilize product potential and maximize its product life.
Mr. Raj Singh Chaudhury concludes, “We want to establish our Jyotsna Ink brand strongly in the coming years across India. We are also planning to launch a new range of affordable desktop inks in 2022, once the situation gets normal, increase our brand presence and expand our business further.”
