Founded in 2001 in Delhi by its Proprietor, Mr. Umesh Aggarwal, Prefill System initially started with laser cartridge reflling services for corporates. The company launched Printon brand in 2007 providing laser printer toners, cartridges, cartridge and printer components for black and color printers, through wholesaling and trading. Today, Prefill System also provides toners in bulk unbranded. Prefill System has now completed 21 years of presence in the imaging industry with growth, success and satisfaction. In an interaction with the Imaging Solution magazine, Mr. Umesh Aggarwal shares how they started their business in a humble manner in 2001, how they grew up into a successful company today and their important milestones.
Mr. Aggarwal shares, “We started with refilling laser toner cartridges in 2001 when I was 36. Since the beginning our objective has been to provide best services at affordable prices. We are glad that we completed 21 years successfully and proud that today Printon has evolved into one of the leading brands in the Indian imaging industry, not only in Delhi-NCR but all across the country.”
In 2020, Printon launched compatible black & color copier cartridges for HP, Canon, Panasonic, Toshiba, Sharp, Kyocera and Konica Minolta brand machines and also added cartridge components such as doctor and wiper blades, OPC drums, springs, chip, etc. Now, Prefill System has reduced their refilling operations significantly and concentrating mainly on promoting their Printon brand. Today, the product-line of Printon also includes compatible color cartridges and components for all major brands of printers and copiers.
“Our USPs are we do not compromise on quality and our products deliver what we promise and we do business only with select and trusted partners. Since the beginning, our aim has been to grow in a slow-and-steady manner; not to take long jumps. We did have ups and downs in business, but we kept our principles of transparency, honest deals, quality of products & services, and cordial relationships with our partners unchanged. There was a dip in our business in 2020 and 2021 due to Covid, but now we are selling more than the pre-lockdown levels. We offer our products pan-India, though a major portion of business comes from NCR and North India regions. Our partners have been very honest while dealing with us. We would not have achieved this success without the support and cooperation of our partners during the easy and tough times, so I wholeheartedly thank all our partners,” adds Mr. Umesh Aggarwal.
