Apex Microelectronics (Apex) claims its customers will be able to seize market opportunities with its new release compatible chips for use in the TK-5317 series of toner cartridges suitable for use in the Kyocera printing devices.
The Kyocera TASKalpha 408ci and 508ci printers were released in March 2020, in the US. Both A4, color, multi-function printer models can print up to a speed of 40ppm. Kyocera is pitching these printers at small and medium-sized working groups that require durable operation and flexible finishing. Apex claims its chip release is a first-to-market replacement chip solution for use in these cartridges. According to the company, the new release comes with consistent performance and is easy to install in remanufactured cartridges.
