HP’s JetIntelligence technology certainly presented a challenge to the aftermarket – the majority of suppliers took the easy route and simply replaced the inner cartridge system with a ready-made, new build solution. CIG took the more complex route in order to provide a true OEM alternative which is 100% IP safe.

Thanks to their engineering team, they have developed a product in which they reuse the entire inner system of the original, providing an OEM equivalent user experience in terms of a no pull seal tab and OEM equivalent product performance in terms of quality.
Reusing the OEM system is considerably more complex than using new build components. CIG does not use new build components in their cartridges including new build plastics, eliminating any concerns over flame retardant substances such as DecaBDE. They guarantee complete peace of mind in complying with all IP and health and safety regulations, and all of this for only a fraction of cost of the OEM.
