The company imports products from standard ODMs and OEMs from Japan, Korea, Taiwan and China and distributes all over India. The company also specialized in remanufacturing some items. Ramji Patel, Proprietor of Copier World, clarifies, “We deal mainly with copier and printer consumables and machine parts, inks, toners, PCRs, etc. Currently we are increasing our focus on sublimation inks and sublimation media where we see a good opportunity.
Next, we are importing PVC inkjet ID cards for students and officials, which we get printed as per the customer requirements—this in fact is a new trend in ID card segment. Also we are developing consumables for the latest models of Kyocera, Samsung, Ricoh, etc. Though our main base is Pune, we operate throughout the country via a network of over 650 dedicated dealers. We have two brands Folex and Marco. We also deal in color compatibles for laser printers, inkjet printers and copiers. Color at present is growing faster than monochrome offer a great opportunity in the coming years.
Our annual growth rate is around 15%. We have to wait and see how good the effect of GST and BIS will be on our business and it is too soon to comment at this stage. Good quality and competitive prices are our main selling points.
