Auro systems plans to export refilling machines in near future

Auro Systems & Communications is a Pondicherry-based importer, service provider, supplier and trader of compatible printer cartridges, networking products, computer peripherals, computers, mice, monitors, keyboards, printer spare parts, printer chips, etc. The company also offers printer cartridge refilling services, PC troubleshooting and anti-virus solutions.

Founded in 1995, led by its MD, Vikram Pareek, Auro Systems also remanufactures laser printer cartridges, manufactures toner refilling machines and offers printer repair services.  Vikram Pareek shares, “Auro Living Solutions is our brand, under which, we provide all the printer consumables. We also provide OEM cartridges for HP and Epson. Presently, color printing segment is doing very well though it forms only small a fraction of the total printer products and services segment. The segment is growing very fast and it offers a great opportunity for future. We import mainly from China and Singapore from reputed ODMs.

Offering quality products and services is our man focus. One major challenge we are facing in the market is the low-quality goods and fakes from the unorganized sector flooding the market and confusing the average, less educated customers. We hope BIS will to some extend check this black trend.” Regarding their present strengths and future plans, Mr Vikram shares, “We are growing at an AGR of over 40%, where our present area of operation is mainly Pondicherry. In future, we want to open franchisees all over India.

The new government’s initiative of GST is very good. At present, since we procure materials and components from different states, multiple taxation adds up to costs and delays. Once GST comes into force, it helps to reduce the multiple taxation and the associated costs and we will be able to transfer this reduction to the end customers. Also in future, we will export our refilling machines to other countries. Recently, to be moderately a part of Make in India initiative, we have developed a chemical which is a very effective in cleaning cartridges, particularly HP and Samsung color cartridges. We want to focus especially on promoting this product in the near future.”
