Creative Copiers, founded in 2002 in Darya Ganj (New Delhi), is a prominent provider of brand new copiers (of Kyocera), compatible copier parts & consumables for models of all the leading brands; copier repair & rental services; and selling reconditioned (RC) copiers (of Canon, Xerox and Konica Minolta). Since 2012, Creative Copiers has been a leading Premium Business Partner for Kyocera’s brand new MFD copier machines in India. Creative Copiers provides compatible copier consumables under their own brand name CRT.
Mr. Risshee Golcha, Proprietor, Creative Copiers, comments, “We import toners and printer parts only from reputed manufacturers in Korea and Japan, not from China. We do not find Chinese quality up to the mark. Appreciation of USD vis-à-vis INR has pushed up our investments and increased the cost of imports, and we in turn had to increase the prices of our products. Customers are naturally unhappy with the price-increases and as a result, the demand is also suffering. But we are able to overcome this issue by expanding our reach and increasing the number of our partners and sales volumes. We shortlisted elite customers whom we call A+ clients on whom we focus more, and after that we move our focus to B and C level customers.”
In 2022, Creative Copiers tied up with some partners in North-East India and started operations there on a moderate scale which the company wants to gradually improve in the coming years. Currently, Creative Copiers has about 200 partners across India, where most of them are concentrated in North India.
Talking about their future plans, Mr. Rishi Golcha briefs, “Govt sector is one of the largest buyers of imaging products, so, in 2023, we are targeting to increase our sales to govt sector. Our aim is also to increase our sales and services in corporate market. Coming to copier machines, we import RC machines of Canon, Xerox and Konica brands from USA and Europe and sell them in India after refurbishing. However, now we are focusing mainly on selling brand new copiers and copier rentals, and less on RC machines, as people today want the latest new machines over old machines. We have doubled the number of our partners (from the earlier 100 to the present 200) across India. Overall, we are getting very good response from the market despite some challenges and our sales have increased by 50% in 2022 compared to 2021. In FY2023-24 too, we are expecting robust growth. Our main selling points are providing the best after-sales-service, fair prices, good margins for the partners and transparent dealings with vendors, partners and customers. Under our CRT brand name, our compatible copier consumables, both mono and color, are selling well. Our relationship with Kyocera has been very cordial, positive and mutually beneficial. The management of Kyocera has been quite cooperative, supportive and partner-friendly.”
Talking about their future plans, Mr. Risshee Golcha shares, “We want to further expand our reach and availability in 2023. We have also started exporting to Bangladesh and Bhutan in a limited measure, which we want to scale up in 2023 and beyond. In future, we want to establish our CRT brand strongly. Now, we have increased our focus on providing copier toners and copier & printers parts. In 2024 and beyond, in steps, we want to enter the projectors, professional scanners, LED lights, interactive panels and EV batteries segments, as we see great future opportunities in these segments. Next, the EV batteries are going to be a very big segment in the coming times as most vehicles will be EVs. We are content with our growth so far and are expecting better performances in 2023 and beyond.”
