Epson has announced the launch of three new models under its Smart Charge series of A3 color inkjet printers and multifunction printers (MFPs): the PX-M8000FX and PX-S8010X, available from January 23, 2025, and the PX-M8010FX, set for release in May 2025.
These new models build upon the productivity and print quality of previous models, such as the PX-M7090FX series, while introducing enhanced energy efficiency, a new compact design, and expanded paper tray configurations to support diverse workplace needs.
User-Friendly Design Enhancements
The new devices feature an upgraded user interface for intuitive operation, easy-to-clean button panels, and ink windows for quick visibility of ink levels. High-capacity ink packs—capable of printing up to approximately 86,000 pages in black—reduce downtime and simplify maintenance for enhanced operational efficiency.
Remote Support for Reduced Downtime
Equipped with Epson’s Remote Monitoring System, the new models enable remote troubleshooting for issues like printhead cleaning and system rebooting, eliminating the need for on-site technician visits. This feature is now available across the Smart Charge LX and PX series, further reducing disruptions.
Compact Design with Configurable Paper Trays
Addressing the need for space efficiency, a new single-tray cassette model has been added to the lineup. Compact enough for installation in small offices, retail backrooms, or hospital counters, these models also offer flexibility with configurations ranging from one to four trays, catering to different volume requirements and environments.
These new additions to the Smart Charge series underscore Epson’s continued focus on creating environmentally friendly and space-efficient printing solutions. They reflect a decade of evolution in the series since its debut in 2014, providing a broad range of options to address the varied needs of industries such as education, healthcare, and office environments.
