Multi Infomedia Pvt Ltd, incepted in 2002 in Ahmedabad, is a provider of a wide range of imaging consumables under their brand name i-jet. i-jet offers laser toners and inkjet inks—black and color—for a variety of printer models. Recently, i-jet launched black toners for a variety of copier models of different brands. Since 2022, Multi Infomedia Pvt. Ltd. is also an authorized partner for Pantum’s OEM spares and consumables. Multi Infomedia Pvt. Ltd. also manufactures and provides spares for a variety of models of printers of different brands. In an interaction with Imaging Solution magazine, Mr. Mukesh Patel, Founder & Director of Multi Infomedia Pvt Ltd, shares about their company’s current focus and future plans.

Mr. Mukesh Patel comments, “Our partnership with Pantum for their OEM laser printer parts and other consumables since 2022 has been going well and the sales are increasing steadily; we are expecting good business in 2024-25. In 2024-25, our focus will be on aggressively promoting our copier toners which we recently launched. However, our focus on whatever we have been providing—inks, toners, toner cartridges, etc under our i-jet brand and also in bulk sales—will continue as usual. We import most of the imaging consumables from the quality-proven providers in China and some in Japan. Our business did well overall in 2023-24 where we grew by 15% over the previous year. As for printer parts, about 40% we manufacture in our plant and the rest we import from reputed manufacturers in China.”
Multi Infomedia Pvt Ltd has state-of-the are manufacturing and R&D facilities to develop, manufacture and test a wide range of superior quality laser printer spares. The products under i-jet include compatible cartridges, laser toners, inkjet inks, cartridge parts, printer spares, fuser assembly, maintenance kit, formatter card, pick up roller, scanner assembly, lower rollers, teflon sleeves, encoder strips, trailing cables, timing belts, sensors, OPC drums, doctor & wiper blades, PCR rollers, magnet sleeves and toner chips. In their warehouse, Multi Infomedia Pvt Ltd maintains sufficient stocks to ensure high availability and prompt delivery.
“We have customers all across India though most are concentrated in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, MP and South India. The main selling points of our products are uncompromising quality, reliability, long-life and good performance and we provide them at affordable prices, backed by efficient after-sales-support. Demand for color consumables has been on the rise in the last few years and is expected to increase further in the coming years,” reveals Mr. Mukesh Patel.
Multi Infomedia wholeheartedly supports and complies with the notification of the Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoEF) Rule 2016 on e-waste management. The company also sincerely follows the guidelines issued by Central Pollution Control Board. The company is a staunch supporter of Prime Minister’s Make in India initiatives.
Talking about their future plans, Mr. Mukesh Patel concludes, “As far as the Union Budget 2024-25 is concerned, the government wants to add special duty on some of the products we import, though a date from which it will be implemented has not been announced. If they do implement, it will make our imports costlier and then we will have to increase the prices of our products. In 2024-25, we want to add more dealers to our network, promote our copier toners, expand our channel network, and establish our imaging consumables brand, i-jet, strongly across India.”
