This month’s cover story discusses the rapidly growing demand for inkjet printers and consumables. The demand for printer inks has risen several-fold, but the segment is dominated by OEM providers. Experts believe that if the aftermarket players can convince the users, particularly in the home and SOHO segments, that aftermarket inks do not block the printheads and give quality prints as great as OEM inks, but at a much lower cost, then the aftermarket players too can definitely do good business.
