The imaging industry is expecting an uptick in the business this financial year across India with things getting normal on several fronts. There is some concern over the increasing number of daily covid cases, but most players believe it will have no significant negative effect on the businesses in India this year. Even China has realized that restricting businesses and activities in the way of lockdowns will only make things worse and affect the economy adversely. So, China has relaxed the restrictions on the movement of people which has led to improvement in the overall economic activity. In the same way, even if the Covid numbers increase in the short run, it is not expected to have any significant negative impact on the economy.

Next, on March 8, 2023, the whole world’s celebrated the International Women’s Day. Women today are gradually climbing into leading positions in the world and in the imaging industry too we see many women becoming executives and entrepreneurs. In this issue, we profiled some leading women leaders in the international imaging industry.
