Apex Microelectronics, now known as Geehy Microelectronics, has released replacement chips for use in Canon 2725i/4825/4835i series devices. In August 2022, Canon announced the imageRUNNER 2725i/2730i/2745i series A3 mono MFPs, which print at speeds up to 45 ppm and utilise built-in advanced programs for advanced document processing, optimizing workspace productivity for fast, efficient printing and scanning. The latest of Apex’s “first-to-market” solutions are replacement chips for use in Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX 4845/4835/4825 and Canon imageRUNNER 2725/2730/2735 devices with replacement chips coming soon for use in Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX 4845i/4835i/4825i and Canon imageRUNNER 2725i/2730i/2745i devices. The company claims its chips are ASIC designed and are ‘easy to install in various toner cartridges.’ Apex Microelectronics Co., Ltd has changed its name to “Geehy Microelectronics Inc.”, effective from September 21, 2022. Apex claims that the change is to meet the company’s strategy development as well as to better promote its business. From September 21, Apex began to run all its business under Geehy, and meanwhile, Apex claims that all the business relations and service promises remain unchanged.
