OCP is pleased to announce that its research and development department has produced and released new sets of pigment and dye-based inks for Canon and Brother cartridges. The Canon pigment inks are for its Maxify cartridges, used in the Maxify range of inkjet printers, with these machines utilising the FINE printhead.
This features 1,200 nozzles for black and 1,024 for each colour, and the Dual Resistant High Density Ink System for exceptionally dense and durable prints. OCP believes it has done an excellent job to create this ink set to fulfil the different needs of users in the office environment. The Brother colour inks are for use in the MFC-J4420, 4620, 5320.
5620 and 5720 inkjet printers, with the dye-based colour and pigment monochrome inks replacing Brother’s Inobella series. The cartridges feature ink monitoring chips, meaning that remanufacturing the cartridge requires a replacement chip or for the chip to be reset. OCP has also identified which part of the cartridge is responsible for ink level detection.
