Ricoh USA, Inc. unveiled its latest color wide format device to help architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) firms capture, transform and manage information quickly and simply.
The compact RICOH MP CW2201SP makes sharing wide-format technical drawings, schematics, presentations and other information easier than ever. n today’s new world of work, AEC collaborators need to be able to share information across multiple locations – offices and work sites – efficiently. That includes the ability to walk up and use collaboration tools without the need for extensive training or scrolling through long lists of underused options.
The RICOH MP CW2201SP’s improved user interface, in the form of Ricoh’s next-generation Smart Operation Panel, was designed with a focus on how these users actually interact with the device. Among the ways this Workstyle Innovation Technology facilitates speed and ease of use are the automatic, customizable surfacing of frequently used functions; driverless near-field communication (NFC) printing and sharing from mobile devices; and preconfigured print settings for the kinds of specialized documents these firms use.
