S R Groups, under their brand name Mit X Print provides consumables, brand new printer and copier machines and deals with customers directly in Madurai and deep South India. Under the brand name RIO, S R Groups operates across India through their partner network. RIO is one of the largest traders of consumables like Master roll and ink, and providers of digital duplicator machines—RC and brand new—and duplicator machine spares, etc. The duplicator brands they deal include RISO, Rongda, Ricoh, and Duplo. The company was started by the duo Suresh Manohar (operates across India with RIO brand) and P Bharathi (deals with Mit X Brand directly with end-users in Madurai and deep South India). The duo had over a decade experience in the imaging industry prior to starting their company. Today, RIO Print has offices in Mumbai, Madurai and Head Office in Chennai.
In an interaction with Imaging Solution magazine, Suresh Manohar comments, “For our duplicator machines, the main customers are schools and colleges which have a lot of duplicating work related to question papers, study material, etc. We offer good quality products and latest machines at affordable prices supported by good after-sales-service.”

P Bharthi clarifies, “I am dealing with only brand-new machines of Ricoh, Kyocera and Konica Minolta brand printers and copiers for Madurai and deep South India, up to Kanyakumari, where Mit X Print has over 500 loyal customers. As far as consumables are concerned, we sell both OEM and compatible under our own brand, Mit X Print. Color segment is growing well, both for copiers and printers. Our direct customers are mainly schools, colleges and corporates where they are required to print in bulk. We also provide good service through our service engineers. The business under me is growing at an annual rate of 30%. This year too we are expecting to maintain the good growth.”

Regarding GST and future plans, Suresh Manohar comments, “We have customer’s pan-India. Overall, we are growing at an annual rate of 20% and we are content with our growth. The GST law has been a good initiative from the government and made our business function better as we operate across the state boundaries. Under GST, we have only one tax and processes gRGot simpler and streamlined, whereas earlier different states used to impose different taxes which were adding to complications. Currently, we have a network of 18 dealers who sell our products pan-India. In future, we want to start branch offices in Kolkata, Delhi and Nagpur, expand our dealer network and enhance business operations.”
