Archana Print Solution, founded in 2011 in Patna and led by its Proprietor, Mr. Uptanand Kumar, is a leading provider of copier sales, service, and rentals. Archana Print has been a Partner of Konica Minolta since 2011; Canon plotters and printers since 2018; Kyocera printers & 12×18 color digital printers since 2018; and Ricoh digital offset copy printers and consumables since 2021. The company started its own imports in April 2022. The company imports and sells black and color toners for printers and copiers of multiple brands under their own brand, Image Guard, and also in bulk unbranded.
Mr. Uptanand Kumar comments, “We recently launched our Image Guard brand (April 2022) and it is picking up. We started importing imaging consumables like toners, developers, and cartridges from a leading global Japanese manufacturer and provider who has factories in Japan, China, and the USA. They provide world-class imaging consumables and cartridges packed according to our order and requirements using automatic filling machines. In the coming years, we will further expand our import operations. Since we have wider connections and manage our business meticulously, we did not face much problem due to Covid in the last 2 years, whereas most other businesses suffered. We deal only in brand new machines; no RC machines. We sell nearly 50 mono printers & copiers, 12 color copiers, and 2 plotters each month. We are growing nearly at 10% a year and our customers come mainly from Bihar and Jharkhand states. Our main merits are prompt and effective service and long-term relationships based on trust and transparency. One current challenge in the market is a shortage in supplies and availability. The next issue is government departments are not accepting the machines if they are Made in China even if they are from big brands from Japan or Taiwan. Today, even Japanese companies have their manufacturing plants in China and the machines contain the tag ‘Made in China’ printed on them. We want to open a branch in Delhi soon and later in Mumbai. As the schools and colleges started working full-time now, we are expecting good business this financial year (2022-23). In future, we want to expand our business pan-India.”
