In an interaction with Imaging Solution, Mr. Bharat Bhutak, MD, Shree Technologies, shares his company’s philosophy, vision, and future plans. Shree Technologies was established in 2007 in Mumbai as a leading manufacturer of a wide range of laser printer cartridges and machine parts and inkjet printer parts, which is their operation. As a secondary business, they also provide compatible laser cartridges, laser toners, laser printer cartridge chips, OPC drums, etc under their brand name Shree. Shree Technologies have their own well-equipped, state-of-the-art manufacturing and R&D and testing facilities in Andheri, Mumbai.

Mr. Bharat Bhutak shares, “Our main focus is on manufacturing and supplying the laserjet printer machine parts like power supply boards, formatter boards, gears, etc which form nearly 80% of our business. We have our state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Andheri equipped with the latest machines and technology. We manufacture both monochrome and color laser machine parts, but monochrome parts form a major portion of our business. We are not dealing in copier parts and consumables. We provide printer cartridges and machine spares for both black and color machines. Since 2019, we have been providing inkjet printer spares for Epson and Canon machines and also dot-matrix printer spares. The color printer parts market is growing well but it takes some more years to become a big market. We import mainly from reputed, quality-proven manufacturers from China. Quality, consistency, and reliability are our main selling points. We maintain great quality, equal to or exceeding those imported from China, but our prices are 20% less than Chinese products. Our main customers are resellers, dealers, and refillers. We customers across India and we are also exporting our spares to Dubai, Kenya, Bhutan, and Bangladesh.”
Shree Technologies sells printer parts in bulk and unbranded. Jaguar is their brand for toner powders—black and color and Shree is their brand for laser toner cartridges. Shree Technologies uses top-grade quality basic materials, coupled with advanced technology and maintains strict industry quality standards. Thus, their products are highly appreciated for their unique features such as easy installation, high speed, reliability, and print quality.
Mr. Bharat Bhutak adds, “We operate pan-India with our base in Mumbai. Our annual growth has been 15-20% but sales have been down since Mar 2020 due to Covid lockdowns. Now we have reached 60% of the pre-lockdown levels, but we hope to reach normal levels by early 2022, once the schools, colleges, and coaching centers start working full time. Work From Home and Learn From Home have little impact on our business.”
Shree Technologies’ main target market segments are Homes, Offices, Business establishments, commercial enterprises, and Students and professionals. Their human resources include dedicated Procuring agents, Quality analysts, Warehousing and Packaging personnel, Sales and marketing executives. Shree Technologies has a wide pan-India distribution network. With client-friendly payment options, coupled with transparent and ethical business dealings, Shree has been able to gain the trust and goodwill of a huge client base in imaging market segments.
Talking about their future plans, Mr. Bharat Bhutak briefs, “Incoming times we want to focus more on inkjet and dot-matrix printer parts, in addition to our continued focus on laserjet printer parts. We import mainly from standard providers from China. High quality and cost-effective prices are our main selling points. In the coming years, we are going to launch copier machine parts. We want to establish our brands and products pan-India. In the future, we want to focus more on providing inkjet printer spares, while our laser printer cartridge and machine spares business will continue. We are happy with our progress and confident about our future ventures.”
