Talking about their recent product releases, Mr. Ganesh VasanWhaval shares, “Recently, we launched spares for passbook printers of Epson and Olivetti brands. These spares have great quality and are highly reliable and durable. We are expecting a good response for these spares in the coming months. We procure all our required raw materials from the local traders in India, and do not import from outside. But the local raw materials suppliers are increasing prices citing the decreasing value of INR versus USD, unfairly taking advantage of the situation. As a result, we also have to increase prices as quality comes at a cost, but the customers are not happy with our price increases. So at present the fall in the value of rupee against dollar is indirectly affecting our business, which is a challenge. The shortage of the key raw materials in the market is another challenge.”

V.V. Printland manufactures a wide range of inkjet and laserjet printer cartridge and printer spares, encoder strips, encoder discs for inkjet printers and plotters of different models of the leading brands such as HP, Epson, Brother, etc at their manufacturing plant in Mumbai. Coming to the GeM, earlier we were present on GeM, but we soon realized that many people were selling counterfeit or fake products as genuine OEM or India-made products. This has made it very difficult for the honest manufacturers like us to compete there, so we withdrew from there. But now we want to launch again on GeM and try, hoping that the providers of the fakes have been identified and removed from the portal. We are strongly committed to Make in India and we want to expand our domestic manufacturing operations further and launch more made in India products. We are now in the process of increasing automation, expanding our manufacturing capacity and refine the processes further to enhance production speed and improve the precision of the products. We also give all the necessary support our channel partners so that they are motivated to perform better. We will continue to strive to give better quality products and higher satisfaction to our customers.
