Recently, Delco Copier acquired authorized distribution rights for big brands like Canon, Kyocera and
Samsung. The company aims to further expand their imaging & office automation products range with more distributorship added to their list. Delco Copier has been constantly endeavoring to achieve total customer satisfaction through quality. Under the expert management of Sanjeev Chaudhary, Proprietor, Delco Copier been able to expand faster in their distribution of imaging and office automation products of big brands, while developing their own brand Delco, within a short period of time. The company has been able to set new benchmarks in this sector.
New Delhi-based Delco Copier is involved in offering a wide range of office automation equipment and compatible products like toners, drums, web rollers, chips and crums, fixing films, lamination rollers and pouches, lamination machines, films, cartridges, black and color inks & toners, etc since 2007, under their brand name Delco. The company also provides OEM cartridges, toners, inks, etc, besides compatibles. The latest developments at Delco are that the company took authorized distributorship for Canon A4, Kyocera printers and copiers, Samsung A3 printers; and OEM inks of Epson and Canon.
Sanjeev Chaudhary, Proprietor, Delco Copier clarifies, “Since our inception in 2007, we have been able to achieve many landmarks in the field of providing imaging & office automation products. The new distribution rights we acquired for brand new machines of Canon, Kyocera and Samsung are expected to boost our business operations further. After GST, our sales for printers as well as for consumables started increasing rapidly, with every businessman now wants to print bills or something related to taxation. There are some problems and confusions with GST definitions and billing, but they are temporary and will be solved soon. After the launch of GST, the A4 printers are selling very well in the last three months (July-Aug-Sep 2017). The government officers are also now shifting from A3 to A4 size fromat and this has further boosted the demand for MFPs. We see GST as a good step in bringing order and transparency into the business.”
Delco Copier possesses an excellent warehousing facility equipped with the latest machines and with the right temperature and humidity controls for better protection and preservation of the goods. The company has been constantly endeavoring to achieve total customer satisfaction through impeccable quality and user-friendly designs.
“We offer a wide range of cartridges that includes inkjet cartridges, laser toner cartridges, copier toner cartridges, etc for several brands and models; and we offer premium quality products at affordable prices. Our relationships with partners are for long-term, based on trust and credibility. We procure only from quality-proven traders and leading OEM suppliers. Delco brand cartridges, ink as well as laser, provide high quality prints,” added Sanjeev.
Talking about their company’s ethics, Sanjeev comments, “I believe in training my employees and even my children from the basics. Whenever my children come to office, I never let them straight away feel that they are the owner’s kids. Rather, I would ask them to go to the warehouse, locate a particular product and bring it down to me. Such actions help them to realize how workers work and help them understand things from the basics, the pains and the gains. That is an important step while raising successful future entrepreneurs.”
“We are going to add machine parts of more brands and models in the coming months to our product baskets. We are also expanding more into inkjet printer segment by providing both black and color inks and compatible cartridges under our Delco brand. Color usage is increasing very fast in general, and is increasing much faster than color laser toner due to latest innovations that led cost-effective printing with inks. Last year, color ink consumption of our products has increase by almost 40%, whereas the increase on laser toner side has been much less. In general, MFD usage is growing much faster nowadays, compared to copiers. Last year, our color segment business for machines and consumables put together has grown by 100% (or doubled). Overall, our business is growing at an annual rate of 25%,” elaborated Sanjeev.
Increasing business complexity, cut-throat competition, dynamic market environments and decreasing margins are putting extra pressure on the providers who are trying to find new strategies to cope up with the changing market conditions, to survive and prosper in the trade. Regarding present challenges and future plans, Sanjeev elaborates, “Our future plans include expanding business further by adding more products in our portfolio range. We import raw materials from the standard providers in China, Hong Kong and Singapore. We operate pan-India though most our customers come from North, North-East and Central India regions. We want to focus more on the recent distribution rights we have acquired to increase our operations and activities in the coming months. My message to all the imaging industry players is ‘our imaging industry is quite technical, but unfortunately it is poorly organized and most of the players and their staff are poorly educated and trained.’ There is an urgent need to educate the partners in the industry and take measures to establish strong imaging industry associations to educate, train and organize the industry.”
