Sree Vinayaka Systems, incepted in 2002 is a Trivandrum (Kerala) based provider of imaging products and accessories. At the heart of Trivandrum city, the company has its well-equipped, state-of-the-art showroom-cum-refilling center and an office from where they carry out their operations. Led by P. Ramesh, CEO, the company deals in imaging consumables for printers of HP, Canon, Epson, Samsung and Brother Brands, beside others. Sree Vinayaka Systems started refilling toner & inkjet cartridges in 2007 in their in-house refilling center equipped with the best testing equipment and quality toner powders, inks and spares.
Ramesh comments, “On the color inkjet side Epson, HP and Canon machines are selling well. We sell only a small number of color laser printers. Black laser printer machines are selling well. GST is turning out to be very good for us. Our printer sales have increased a lot in the last 3 months after the launch of GST. The recent GST law is a good initiative from the government to bring in transparency and order into the Indian industry.”

Ramesh adds, “As for compatible cartridges, we are dealing in JetTech, Aryan and Alphabet brands; and for compatible toners, we are using ProDot and JetTec brands. In case of inkjet and ribbon cartridges we are using ProDot brand. For copiers, we sell only toner powder and do not sell copier machines. On the refilling side, we refill nearly 500 toner cartridges and 150 ink cartridges a month. As I said, color refilling is more on inkjet side than on laser side. We also remanufacture a small number of about 50 laser cartridges a month. Remanufactured cartridges offer near OEM quality and page yield, at a lesser cost.”
Sree Vinayaka Systems does remanufacturing and reconditioning of laser toner cartridges on a smaller scale, with training support from Uninet Imaging and Static Control. The other activities of Sree Vinayaka Systems include sale of ribbon, system dust covers, copier papers, glossy papers, power & data cables, antivirus software, TTR film rolls, mouse, keyboards, speakers, UPSs, all types of toner cartridges spares.
“Quality products and service are our main selling points. Then we maintain good and long-term relations will all our customers. We use efficient and advanced methods while refilling cartridges and focus more on quality of products and services. We want to expand our business operations and increase our sales and revenues within Kerala in the coming months and years.”
Some of the recognition awards Sree Vinayaka Systems won include Sales Excellence Award from ProDot for the financial year 2009-10; Best Refiller Award in 2011 by Imaging Solution magazine; and the Best Imaging Partner of 2015 Award by Imaging Solution magazine.
