Sales has a qualified and experienced team of technicians for repairing printer and copier machines of different brands and remanufacturing and refilling services.
Talking about the current market trends, Deepak Aggarwal continues, “The main challenge in the market is margins and profits are shrinking due to high competition and too many players. Next the flood of cheap and low-quality products such as cartridges and toners are corrupting the market and the quality standards are coming down. Low quality comes at low price but will cost more in the long-run. Users who do not understand this aspect run after cheap products and this is adversely affecting the branded players like us who offer quality at a price. The aftermarket industry overall remains unorganized and some initiatives are needed from the media, the imaging industry associations and big players to organize and streamline the aftermarket imaging industry.”
Regarding the growth of color usage in the market, Deepak Aggarwal briefs, “Color usage is increasing fast both on inkjet and laserjet side, but on the inkjet side the growth has been phenomenal where major share in the market is dominated by Epson printers. HP’s share is also increasing in the color inkjet segment. Compared to laser toners, color inks are less expensive and the quality of the prints is reasonably good, so color usage on laser side is much less.”
Deepak Aggarwal concludes, “We are growing at an annual rate of about 10%. Though we have dealership of some big branded printers, we are not into selling printer machines, because margins have come down drastically due to high taxes and competition and the idea of selling them is no longer feasible, so we want to focus more on printer repair services and bulk selling of consumables. Our own brand, RKSS, is selling well so we want to focus on our brand in future. In future, we want to be a one-stop-shop for all laser printer-related products. We are optimistic about our future and will focus on doing better whatever we have been doing.”
