Established in 1996, with Head Office in New Delhi, Tanya Enterprises is a leading provider of world-class digital PET film transfer sticker machine DTF (Direct-to-Film) and DTG (Direct-to-Garment) printing machines. They launched DTF machines in Aug 2020 under their brand name Tanya, whereas they have been providing DTG machines for the last 3 years. Tanya Enterprises has a branch office Kolkata. They have clients spread across India. In an interaction with Imaging Solution magazine, Mr. Mukesh Sharma, Proprietor, Tanya Enterprises, shares their productline, marketing strategy and future plans.
Mr. Mukesh Sharma comments, “Now our main focus is on promoting DTF machines, while we continue to provide DTG machines. We import all our machines from reputed, quality-proven manufacturers in China. DTF machines come in 24-inch width roll and up to any length. The next version of DTF machines come in 12-in width roll, A4, A3—we can print on rolls or on cutsheets. In DTF process, stickers are prepared in CMYK colors, then they are coated with white PU powder before they go into the oven for the final process after which stickers are ready for use. The color image on the sticker is transferred to the cloth (T-shirts, bedsheets, clothes, etc) at 160 degree centigrade temperature. Operating costs of DTF are just half of that of the print and cut vinyl machines so DTF machines are replacing the latter ones. Today, DTF machines have become better alternatives to DTG machines. We have a strong supply network of 6 channel partners through which our products reach across India. We have clients all over India (North, South, East and West). In the last 7 months, we have already sold nearly 50 DTF machines.”
Tanya’s digital PET film transfer sticker machine (DTF) DTF has specifications: Printhead – EPSON4720; Printing resolution – 3200 dpi; Printing speed – 12M2/H – 4 pass; Riping software – maintop; Printing material – PET – transferfilm; Ink type – Coating ink (CMYK & white); Machine weight – 250 kg (gross), 195 kg (net).
“We do have competitors for DTF machines in the market, but our USPs are we provide excellent after-sales-service and our prices are cost-effective compared to our competitors. Textile printing machines form over 90% of our business and only 10% comes from inks and other consumables,” adds Mr. Mukesh Sharma.
The company also provides a wide range of high-quality dye sublimation inks, inkjet inks, toners, and dye sublimation paper in their brand name as well as in bulk without brand name. The Signtec and TAG are their brand names for DTF Ink, pigment inks, sublimation inks, etc. Tanya Enterprises is also a distributor for InkTec inks (manufactured by a South Korea-based provider) in India. The company still provides DTG machines, UV machines, sublimation & pigment ink printing machines, etc. DTG machines are also used for printing on bedsheets, curtains, cloth, etc. Tanya follows ethical business policies and transparent business deals.
Talking about their future outlook and Make in India plans, Mr. Mukesh Sharma comments, “In future, we want to bring into India more advanced printing machines and technologies and expand our presence further in the textile printing segment in India. We want to expand our manufacturing setup and make as much as possible in India and cut down on imports. So far our company and brand have progressed well and we are confident that we will do better in the coming years. We want to establish our brand and products strongly across India.”
