“Our Vision is to be the biggest independent toner manufacturer in the world by 2015. We’re gradually increasing in the production of toners,” said, K.S.Liew, Executive Chairman/Group CEO of Jadi Imaging Technologies Sdn. Bhd, in a discussion with NCN Imaging Solution in ReChina Asia Expo 2009 at Shanghai. “About 95 percent of our revenues depend on exports. China is important market for us,” he added.
Jadi develops, formulates and manufactures toners for photocopiers, and laser printers. Headquartered in Selangor, Malaysia, it is an independent world-class toner manufacturer and exports more than 90% of its products to over 50 countries throughout the world.
“So far as Indian market is concerned, it is very important for us. It is growing well and it has huge potential. We are trying to implement the latest technology in the Indian remanufacturing market. At the end of the day, consumer always preferred high quality products. Jadi’s factory is located in the suburbs of Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, and is fully equipped with the most advanced state-of-the-art production and quality control equipment as well as a pilot production plant to develop new products. An in-house research and development team conducts ongoing research and development to develop new products and improve existing products. “We have set up the new factory in Malaysia. The factory was also fully equipped with the most advanced state-of-the-art quality control equipment and research and development (R & D) facilities as well as a pilot production plant to develop new products,” said, Liew.
“The industry is almost organised globally. But India is growing market and it will organise very shortly. Gradually people understand the potential of remanufacturing market in India also,” opine Liew.
