Established in 2009 from Pune (Maharashtra), Cartridgewala is one of the leading importers, suppliers and distributors of a broad array of high quality imaging products under their brand name Q-Cartridge. The product range offered under Q-Cartridge includes compatible toners, toner cartridges, cartridge parts, printer machine parts and many more for several top brands including HP, Canon, Samsung, Ricoh and Epson. Q-Cartridge products are made from quality-assured materials procured from authorized and certified vendors of the industry from India and abroad. The company also offers unbranded imaging consumables in bulk. Now Q-Cartridge is all set to expand into inks segment by launching inks for inkjet printers.

Vishvesh Gilda, Partner, Cartridgewala, shares, “So far we have been focusing mainly on providing high quality compatible laser cartridges, toners and spares under Q-Cartridge. From Feb 2018, we are launching inks and ink cartridges as the demand for ink products is increasing. We are launching black and color inks for several brands and models including Epson, HP, Brother, etc. We are hoping good business from this initiative as we maintain high standards of quality and compatibility.”

High yield, sharp and dark black print are some of the main features of Q-Cartridge. Aided by quality-proven vendors and spacious warehousing unit, Q-Cartridge can meet bulk orders in a timely and efficient manner. Q-Cartridge has a well-equipped in-house quality testing department where their team of experienced quality controllers assures that only premium quality materials are offered to customers.

Regarding challenges and the latest trends in the imaging industry and their promotional schemes, Vishvesh Gilda shares, “Presently, we operate across India. The main challenge we are facing is the flood of low-quality products that are being dumped into India and due to this product quality is coming down and customers are tempted to purchase cheaper products without any regard for quality. The government and the industry should aggressively pursue methods to implement BIS and curb these low-quality goods in the market. We import mainly from the proven providers from China and offer high quality products at competitive prices and supply products promptly to the customer’s door-step. However, our products are not cheap, but they are value-for-money products, as we maintain good quality.”

Recently Q-Cartridge launched special incentive scheme for their partners, according to which if a partner purchases from them products of Q-Cartridge. This offer is valid on buying Q-Cartridge branded imaging consumables from 1 December, 2017 to 31 March, 2018. To qualify for a fully paid Bangkok trip in April/May one has to buy Q-cartridge branded products of at least 3 lak per month. The target is based on gross purchase excluding GST and the offer cannot be cashed out. The offer is not valid on OEM and bulk pack purchase. With their focus on high quality products & services and consistency, Cartridgewala plans to widen their business operations and widen their dealer network across India as a part of their expansion drive.

Regarding GST, current trends and future plans, Mr. Gilda concludes, “GST is good as it helps to avoid multi-taxation and documentation. Now doing business across state borders has become easy and our business is growing well. It has made the business operations more organized, but it needs some modifications to be more effective and business-friendly. Currently we are growing at an annual rate of 25%. In future, we want to maintain good growth rate, expand our partner network into North-East India and establish Q-Cartridge as a reputed brand across India for compatible cartridges and powders. We are confident that the soon-to-be launched ink products will boost our business further.”
