In an interaction with Imaging Solution magazine, Rohit Shah, President, JET TEC, about the company’s initiatives and future plans of the organization.
Today, under JET TEC brand name, they offer a wide array of products required for refilling / remanufacturing including OPC drum, toners, blades, mag rollers, PCRs, chips, seals, empty toner cartridges, ink / toner cleaning machines, etc. JET TEC has nine offices across India, located in Mumbai, Ahmadabad, Surat, Delhi, Jaipur, Gwalior, Kolkata, Himachal and Chennai, covering all the regions in India. Apart from that, JET TEC also has local state representatives in Punjab, Maharashtra & Bihar, etc to support respective markets.

JET TEC is the exclusive partner of MKI (Mitsubishi Kagaku Imaging) in India and also the partner for Jadi Imaging, a leading Toner Manufacturer based in Malaysia.
The in-house quality control unit of JET TEC tests the entire range from the stage of procurement to the stage of final dispatch and aims at offering near-OEM quality and consistency. People are looking up to GST, expected to be effected from July 2017, as a breakthrough development for the Indian commerce and hope it would streamline taxes, reduce unnecessary formalities and improve business efficiency across the nation. On this, Mr. Rohit Shah mentions, “The GST will be good for the imaging industry and also for other industries; it will be good for the country as a whole and improves competence in the market. It will help us to avoid multi-taxation and work in any state with ease. Though the market slowed down a bit due to demonetization for some time, it gave a push to convert the grey market into white, which is a welcome development.”
Regarding the growing usage of and demand for color consumables in the imaging industry, Mr. Rohit Shah states, “Demand for color consumables is increasing, but the main challenge in color segment is with maintaining quality and consistency. In case of color, unlike in the case of black, any inconsistency or low-quality becomes glaringly visible. Our color consumables stand up to high quality and consistency and we have a wide range of color consumables for different brands and models.”
